Schindler wins project of year with Prudential Tower modernization

MORRISTOWN, NJ, January 9, 2025 - Schindler's modernization of Boston's Prudential Tower has been named the Elevator World 2025 Project of the Year.

For the project, Schindler modernized 28 gearless elevators, and installed 3 machine room-less elevators, 3 escalators, and Schindler PORT-a state-of-the-art destination control system that seamlessly integrated with the existing building infrastructure.

Prudential Tower is a symbol of Boston, and we wanted to not just improve the vertical transportation within it, but redefine how visitors and tenants experience this iconic building.
