SBA and Sri Lanka Ambassador explore media collaboration

Saudi Broadcasting Authority Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Alharthi met with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Saudi Arabia, Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation in the media field. The meeting focused on television and programme production, content exchange, and media expertise, alongside opportunities for joint media training initiatives between the two countries.

Both sides agreed that SBA would contribute through several of its programmes to help introduce the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Sri Lankan people. This initiative aims to showcase Saudi Arabia's ambitious vision and future projects while strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.

The discussions also addressed the Sri Lankan Embassy's participation in the upcoming Saudi Media Forum. They emphasised the importance of enhancing the forum's international presence, given its role as the largest media gathering in the region.
