Meadows Field Airport (BFL) is excited to announce new United Airlines service to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning on August 11, 2026, with one daily nonstop flight.
"This is an exciting step forward for our community," said Bill LaManque, Director of Kern County Department of Airports. "Each new route expands access, supports local businesses, and strengthens our region's economic vitality. We're proud to partner with both United Airlines and American Airlines in delivering these essential connections."
With this addition, United Airlines will now serve three destinations from BFL-Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), and Denver (DEN). American Airlines also continues to provide valuable connectivity with service to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) and Phoenix (PHX).
