Secretary-General of ASEAN delivers Lecture at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London
Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 10 February 2026, delivered a lecture at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. The event was hosted by the SOAS China Institute. With the theme "The ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership: Advancing Peace, Prosperity and Progress," SG Dr. Kao distilled the key accomplishments of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations over the years and highlighted the potential of how ASEAN and China could further advance peace and ensure prosperity for the peoples as well as propel progress for the region in the future.
