BSA Training for Frontline Staff

Join us Tuesday, August 18, from 9 AM to 11 AM for a virtual education session designed to help your credit union meet its BSA training requirements and stay prepared for your next NCUA examination.

BSA compliance remains a priority for the NCUA and state examiners, making it important for credit unions to regularly evaluate and strengthen their compliance programs. Led by André Lucas, Director of Compliance, this session will provide a practical look at current regulatory expectations and the steps credit unions can take to strengthen their BSA compliance programs.

Key Objectives:

  • Build a stronger foundation by exploring the five pillars of BSA, effective policies and procedures, and the critical role of customer due diligence.
  • Strengthen your risk management approach by learning how to identify, assess, and mitigate money laundering risks while recognizing common laundering techniques.
  • Stay current on the latest updates to CDD rules and beneficial owners.
  • Understand today's compliance expectations for transaction monitoring, including Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports.
  • Examine how FinCEN, OFAC, and the USA PATRIOT Act influence your credit union's compliance responsibilities.
  • Learn how regulators enforce BSA requirements and what the consequences of non-compliance can mean for your institution.

Register today to strengthen your compliance knowledge and help ensure your team is prepared for what's next.
