County Road 220 Bridge and Widening Project Complete
CLAY COUNTY, FL. -- The County Road 220 bridge replacement and four-lane widening project is now complete and open to traffic, without any workplace accidents, and ahead of schedule.
Phase 1 work began in December 2024 and includes intersection improvements at Rideout Ferry Road. Phase 2 work began in January 2025, and includes the construction of a new four-lane bridge over Little Black Creek to replace the old bridge, which was built in 1947.
These improvements will support better traffic flow and enhance connectivity along the corridor.
