The FAO Liaison Office with the United Nations in New York took part in United Nations Kids Day 2026, an annual event in New York that offers children aged 5 to 10 the opportunity to learn about the work of the United Nations and its entities.
During the day, which was attended by around 400 children, FAO introduced them to the four betters, healthy diets, and the right to food through games, activities and FAOs activity books. Children were inspired to see their daily actions and choices as ways to make a difference, no matter how small they were. We can all do our part - working hand in hand - to build a brighter future for all.
FAO also contributed to a storytelling session alongside colleagues from across the UN. The sessions aimed to spark curiosity and action, showing children their potential as agents of change.
FAO's participation in UN Kids Day reflects its commitment to engaging with and empowering future generations.
