How Lifestory Research Determines America's Most Trusted® Home Builder

Lifestory Research is a research and strategy firm focusing on social and behavioral sciences to solve business complications.

Each year, they survey over 66,000 home shoppers to gauge their opinions on homebuilders' trust, quality, word-of-mouth, and other key brand questions. Their process does not involve third-party reviews and ratings, editorial committees, or industry professionals. In other words, they rely on the opinions of real people to achieve authentic, unbiased results.

In a year often referred to as "surreal" or even "chaotic," Taylor Morrison was able to cut through the noise. In 2016, we were granted the title for the first time, an honor that transformed our company from the inside out.

From 2017-2022, we were also honored to be named a Best Places to Work by Glassdoor and gained a spot on Bloomberg's Gender Equality Index, committing to advancing women in a traditionally male-dominated workplace.

While it's an honor to have awards on our metaphorical shelf, we don't do any of it for the trophies. We do what we do because of you. Because of your wants, needs, desires and the unwavering belief that there is priceless value in owning a home. We strive for gender equality, for equity, inclusion, and belonging, because we know a great place to work is the foundation and the heart of our business.

The return of an award-winning show like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition calls for America's Most Trusted^® Home Builder. We are proud to be part of the show's reboot, which premiered Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, on ABC. Missed an episode? No problem! You can also watch on Hulu the next day.

Tune in as we join our friends, Clea and Joanna from The Home Edit, to transform the lives of deserving families across the country.

Going Above and Beyond

Lovingly coined "wow stories," our team members go the extra mile for our customers, from paying our 100,000th homebuyer's mortgage for a whole year to helping a lost boy in one of our communities get home after school.

Online Tools

Online tools create greater transparency and optionality for home shoppers. Schedule in-person appointments, take virtual tours, or even design and reserve a home, all from the comfort of your couch.

Inspired by Good

We give back to our communities, partnering with Banner Health to build homes for cancer patients, the National Wildlife Federation to create beautiful, sustainable communities, and HomeAid to aid in the fight against homelessness.
