City Audit Committee Seeks New Member

The governing body is currently seeking to fill one vacancy on the Audit Committee. This position requires a certified public accountant with relevant experience.

The Audit Committee plays a vital role in supporting sound financial oversight and accountability. Members are appointed by the governing body, based on the municipal judge's recommendation, and serve staggered terms to ensure continuity. Committee members must reside in the State of New Mexico and bring professional expertise, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to public service.
