The University of Delaware's student-run radio station, WVUD, has scored a hat trick.
The station has launched Henscast 24/7, an all-sports student-led radio brand, which is the third in its 57-year history.
The channel joins 91.3 FM and sister station "The Basement" (WVUD HD-2) under the student media banner at WVUD. It will provide another home for UD sports game coverage and shows, which will continue to be a part of WVUD's regular broadcasting schedule.
"Henscast 24/7 shines a brighter spotlight on the fantastic sportscasting work being done by UD students," said Steve Kramarck, associate director for student centers and WVUD station manager. "We are also very thankful to UD Athletics for their continued support of our students and the access that they provide."
Henscast 24/7 will be available online via multiple streaming applications, and also at 91.3 HD-3 on terrestrial radio. HD radio technology is available in many automobiles and consumer home units.
