Most Volusia County Public Library Branches Reopen

Following the impact of Hurricane Milton, 13 of the 14 Volusia County Public Library branches are open to the public. Only the John H. Dickerson Heritage Library in Daytona Beach remains closed.

The main section of the Daytona Beach Regional Library, 105 Jackie Robinson Parkway, reopened earlier today, Oct. 13. The children's section will reopen tomorrow, Oct. 14. The Rachel Robinson Play Yard will remain closed to address post-storm debris.

Other operational libraries are:

  • Orange City Public Library, 148 Albertus Way
  • Pierson Public Library, 115 N. Volusia Ave.
  • Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St.
  • New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway
  • Hope Place Public Library, 1310 Wright St., Daytona Beach
  • Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle
  • Edgewater Public Library, 103 W. Indian River Blvd.
  • Oak Hill Public Library, 125 E. Halifax Ave.
  • DeBary Public Library, 200 N. Charles R Beall Blvd.
  • Lake Helen Public Library, 221 N. Euclid Ave.
  • Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave.DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave.
