Pickett to Host Bradford County Senior Expo

BRADFORD - Dozens of exhibitors are expected for Rep. Tina Pickett's (R-Bradford/Wyoming) 25th Senior Expo, set for Friday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lynch Bustin Elementary School in Athens.
The event is specifically designed for seniors ages 55 and older and their families. Exhibitors will offer information relating to healthcare, insurance, nutrition and exercise, financial planning, fraud protection, government services and veterans benefits.
"There are countless services available to our aging population, and this senior expo brings them all together in one convenient place," Pickett said. "This is a great opportunity for seniors and their families to learn about what's available and what programs work best for them."
There will also be a town hall at 11:30 a.m. where participants may ask questions relating to legislation and issues affecting the 110th District.
Lynch Bustin Elementary School is located at 253 Pennsylvania Ave. The senior expo is free and no registration is required. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Rep. Pickett's Sayre office at 570-888-9011.
