Georgia DOT Contractors will be beginning a Bridge Replacement on County Line Rd over Potato Creek

Detour set to begin in early November

What: Detour of County Line Rd

Location: County Line Rd from Macon Rd to South 6th Street Ext

Why: To remove and replace the bridge over Potato Creek

When: Detour begins in early November until Spring 2026.

Detour Details: The detour route will be the following, east-bound traffic as follows: Right onto South 6th Street extension left onto Camp Rd to Macon Rd. Westbound traffic will turn onto Camp Road, then turn right onto South 6th Street Extension to County Line Road. This detour will be in place until Spring 2026.

Advisory: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
