It's nearly summertime in the parks, and the Chicago Park District's offerings will help residents build new relationships and talents no matter their age or ability.
The 6-week Summer Day Camp session invites children ages 6-12 to connect through brain boosting activities, nature exploration, sports, fitness and the arts.
Meanwhile, youth, teens, adults and seniors can take advantage of dynamic Summer Programs at parks citywide, including teen water polo clubs, senior walking clubs, softball leagues, photography classes, and much more.
Patrons are encouraged to prepare for a very busy registration day by following the pre-registration day checklist and building a wish list of their favorite program selections. The checklist is available here.
Online registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, for Summer Day Camp and Summer Programs at parks west of California Ave.
Followed by online registration on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 9 a.m. for Summer Day Camp and Summer Programs at parks east of California Ave.
The Summer Day Camp session begins June 23, 2025, and culminates August 1, 2025, and the Summer Program session starts June 16, 2025, and culminates August 10, 2025.

The Chicago Park District's programs are among the most affordable summer activity options available for families, and we offer Financial Assistance for those who cannot afford to pay the full price.
