Olympic rower Katarzyna Welna of Poland warms up in Jubilee Court before a training run around Brock University on Tuesday, Aug. 13. Welna, who recently competed for Poland's national rowing team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, is one of more than 1,700 rowers who arrived this week to stay at the Athletes Village on Brock's main campus during the World Rowing Senior, Under-23 and Under-19 Championships taking place at Henley Island in Port Dalhousie from Aug. 18 to 25.
