Cary, NC - The 50th Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival is still on for Saturday, August 22, but might be have a different look to greet festivalgoers at 9 a.m. Following Friday evening's rain and thunderstorms, crews will be out early Saturday to prepare the festival site, while artists and vendors will have additional time to safely complete setup.
For the safety of artists, vendors, and staff, Friday evening load-in ended early as weather conditions deteriorated. Set-up will resume Saturday morning, which means some areas of the festival may still be coming together when we open at 9 a.m.
We appreciate our Cary community's patience and understanding as we welcome festivalgoers to a rolling start for the 50th Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival. Thank you for giving our artists, vendors, and crews the time they need to safely prepare for a great festival weekend. Opening ceremonies will now take place at 1 p.m. at the Crave Stage, and Squonk's first performance will be at 1:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you!
