‘Rise and Grind’ spring registration opens at Minot State

MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University's Spring 2026 registration will open for all currently enrolled students on Tuesday, Oct. 28. MSU is offering two promotions for students who complete their spring registration through a "Rise and Grind" offer for degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate students.

"Rise and Grind" will feature a free grande drink from Sodexo Starbucks for students on Oct. 28-31, from 9-11 a.m. Minot State's Academic Support Center and the MSU Registrar will be present at Sodexo Starbucks to help clear holds, make appointments with advisors, and select classes in Campus Connection.

"We encourage students to meet with their advisor, clear any holds they may have, and select their courses so that they can register early and be set for spring," said Jim Sturm, Looyenga Leadership Center director and chair of MSU's Retain and Graduate Committee. "We hope that this will make the end of the semester a little less stressful."

Minot State and SCHEELS have partnered again this year to give away gift cards throughout the week. During the week and on Monday, Nov. 4, MSU will draw a name each day at 9 a.m. from MSU students who have registered for a $100 gift card.

While Minot State's promotion runs until Nov. 3, students can register for classes up until the start of the Spring 2026 semester, with classes subject to availability.

Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, after 4 p.m.
