Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs meets with executives of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited

On 4 September 2026, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, met with executives of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), led by Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, PTTEP Chief Executive Officer.

Both sides discussed and exchanged views on PTTEP's overseas business operations and investments, including the impact of current geopolitical developments on its operations and Thailand's energy security. They also discussed preparations to ensure the safety and protection of Thai personnel in the event of emergencies. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its readiness to support Thai companies in expanding their presence and pursuing business opportunities overseas. The Ministry will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen Thailand's energy security, enhance the country's competitiveness, and promote sustainable economic development.
