MontCo Issues Code Red

MONTGOMERY COUNTY ISSUES

CODE RED FOR JULY 1-5, 2026

Montgomery County has issued a Code Red, beginning Wednesday, July 1st, through Sunday, July 5th, due to forecasted temperatures expected to be between 95 and 105 degrees with high humidity. Heat index values are forecasted to be between 100-110 degrees during that time. Overnight low temperatures will only drop into the mid-70s to low 80s, offering little to no relief. The combination of very hot and humid conditions for multiple consecutive days can result in heat-related illnesses, especially for the elderly and children.
