77-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Friday's Hit and Run on Antioch Pike

Update: Jerry F. Robinson, 77, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Friday evening on Antioch Pike. The investigation to identify the vehicle/driver responsible for this fatal crash is ongoing.

Traffic Division investigators are working to identify the driver of a silver sedan involved in Friday's 7:30 p.m. hit and run crash in the 300 block of Antioch Pike that fatally wounded an 81-year-old man. The preliminary investigation indicates the man was crossing from south to north in a crosswalk when the eastbound sedan (seen in the attached surveillance photo) struck him.

It is unknown whether the man was utilizing the flashing sign at the crosswalk or not.

The sedan continued eastbound on Antioch Pike without stopping.

Efforts are underway to notify the 81-year-old's family.
