July 28, 2025 - Cleveland - The City of Cleveland, Department of Public Works will extend the hours of several recreation centers to serve as cooling centers for Cleveland residents that are seeking shelter from the warm temperatures expected in the coming days.

11:30a.m. - 10:00p.m.
Locations:
Each site will have comfort areas for residents and filtered water fountains.

This year, cooling centers have provided vital relief to nearly 600 residents, offering a safe and temperature-controlled environment during periods of extreme heat. Admission to all City pools and access to the full range of the City's Summer Programming is completely free. Residents are encouraged to participate in these programs, which include a diverse array of activities in the areas of art, education, sports, health and wellness, leadership, and career readiness.
