Midland Fire Department to Host Free Car Seat Safety Event May 3

April 25, 2025 - The Midland Fire Department, in collaboration with MyMichigan Health's Trauma Services Program, will host a free community car seat safety event on Saturday, May 3 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Fire Station One, located at 816 E. Haley Street.

Community members are invited to attend and have their car seats inspected and properly installed by trained professionals. Car seats, including replacement car seats, may be available to those who qualify; children must be present to receive a seat.

Appointments are recommended, but drive-ins are also welcome.
