Tiffin University to Host iamstonefoltz FOUNDATION “Never Leave Anyone Behind” – A Presentation on Hazing Awareness and Prevention

Tiffin University will host "Never Leave Anyone Behind," a presentation by Shari and Cory Foltz, Friday, November 1, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Heminger Center. This event is free and open to all members of the Tiffin community.

Shari and Cory Foltz will share their son Stone's harrowing experience through fraternity hazing, his tragic passing and the crucial warning signs we all need to recognize. They advocate passionately for change - to ensure that no one is left behind. Together they created the iamstonefoltz FOUNDATION, which is committed to raising awareness about the dangers of hazing and fostering a culture of safety, respect and responsibility. This presentation offers a valuable opportunity to explore the foundation's mission and understand the crucial role each of us plays in preventing hazing within our communities.

Hailing from Sunbury, Ohio, Stone Foltz was a bright, aspiring entrepreneur enrolled in Bowling Green State University's business program. In a heartbreaking turn during his sophomore year, Stone tragically lost his life to alcohol poisoning March 7, 2021, three days after a fraternity hazing event.
