Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Zhovkva, met with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Boris Ruge.

Ihor Zhovkva expressed gratitude for all the assistance NATO member states have provided Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

"It is noteworthy that over 80% of all military support for Ukraine is now coordinated and delivered through NATO. It is crucial that this figure continues to grow," he emphasized.

The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office highlighted the productive nature of the Ramstein meeting held on February 12 at NATO headquarters in Brussels. Among its main results were the announcement of new contributions to the PURL initiative exceeding USD 500 million and commitments to provide Ukraine with USD 38 billion in support this year.

"It is important to design new defense aid packages based on Ukraine's clearly defined needs. We expect these packages to start arriving by February 24," Ihor Zhovkva stressed.

The meeting also addressed Ukraine's energy situation, the impact of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, and the need to strengthen air defense. Boris Ruge noted the importance of jointly countering any potential attempts by Russia to intensify attacks on Ukraine's energy sector.
