Launch of ROK India Japan Policy Planning Dialogue

1. The 1st ROK-India-Japan Trilateral Policy Planning Dialogue was held on October 21 in Seoul. The ROK delegation was led by Lee Sung-hwan (Director-General for Strategy and Policy Planning of MOFA), the Indian delegation by Raghuram S. (Joint Secretary & Head of Policy Planning & Research Division of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs), and Kobe Yasuhiro (Deputy Minister/Director-General of the Foreign Policy Bureau of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs) led the Japanese delegation.

2. During the dialogue, the three representatives shared strategic perspectives on global and regional challenges in the current polycrisis era, and exchanged views on ways to enhance global governance and strengthen trilateral cooperation.

3. This dialogue marks the inaugural Trilateral Policy Planning Dialogue among the ROK, India, and Japan, and the ROK will continue to advance minilateral networks with key partners to enhance the rule-based international order.
