SPECIAL VISIT OF THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE TO MALAYSIA

20 FEBRUARY 2026

Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lawrence Wong will undertake a Special Visit to Malaysia on 20 February 2026.

During the visit, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Both Prime Ministers are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest, including the outcomes of the recent Leaders' Retreat on 4 December 2025.

Singapore is Malaysia's neighbour and key partner in ASEAN, with close and extensive relations in various fields. In terms of bilateral trade, Singapore is Malaysia's second largest trading partner with total trade reaching RM402.35 billion (USD93.97 billion) for 2025, an increase of 1.5 per cent compared with 2024.
