Today, Autodesk announced AU for Small Business, a reimagined Autodesk University experience for small business customers-anchored by a dedicated Small Business learning path at AU 2026 and a more robust free digital experience. It is the latest step in Autodesk for Small Business, the company's ongoing, long-term effort to better serve small business customers across everything from pricing and packaging to product experience, support, and learning. Small businesses across Design and Make are growing nearly 35% faster than the broader small business economy, according to Autodesk's State of Small Business report. They are designing homes, building products, running studios, and managing jobsites, often with lean teams and little time to spare. AU for Small Business is built for that reality: it helps small teams quickly find the sessions, experts, and peer connections most relevant to their business, whether they attend in person or join for free online.
It means less time navigating a large conference and more time getting value from it. The Small Business learning path curates more than 100 sessions and experiences for small teams, independent professionals, and entrepreneurs, including Expert Elite and community-led sessions, product roadmap sessions, hands-on labs, panels, trainings, and meetups. Topics include:
"For small businesses, time is one of the scarcest resources. AU for Small Business puts the sessions, experts, and peer connections that matter most in one place, so a lean team can get real value out of AU in the hours they have, whether they join us in Las Vegas or tune in for free from anywhere." - Dara Treseder, Chief Marketing Officer, Autodesk
In the past, small business attendees navigated the full AU program on their own to find the sessions most relevant to them. AU for Small Business curates a dedicated learning path and pairs it with a more robust free digital experience, so small teams can find what is relevant to them without sifting through the entire catalog. With the free AU digital pass, individuals and teams can join live-streamed keynotes and sessions and tap into on-demand classes and content from anywhere in the world-including Keynote Community watch parties in English, Korean, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Ukrainian. These digital watch parties will be hosted by members of the Autodesk Expert Elite program and will give digital attendees an opportunity to watch the session and chat live in their language of choice.
The Small Business learning path is one of several ways Autodesk will show up for small businesses at AU 2026. At the event, the company will share additional announcements about how it is reshaping the small business experience for the long term and will gather feedback from small businesses on the changes that would matter most to them. AU 2026 takes place from September 15-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Registration is open for full conference passes, daily passes, or the AU digital pass.
