Ambassador of Belarus A.Andreyev meets President of Brazil

On February 7, 2026 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Andrey Andreyev, met with the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, during a ceremony held by the Workers' Party in Salvador.

The Belarusian Ambassador conveyed to the Brazilian head of state the words of support from the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in connection with the upcoming elections in the country. The diplomat emphasised the common views of Belarus and Brazil on building a socially oriented state and ensuring a fair world order. A.Andreyev confirmed that Belarus remains a reliable partner and is ready to further expand interaction in all areas of bilateral cooperation.

During the event, a conversation also took place with the Vice President of Brazil, Geraldo Alckmin. The interlocutors discussed priority issues of economic cooperation development.
