Temecula Takeover Night at Storm Stadium – A Home Run for Temecula Spirit!

On Saturday, June 28, at 5:45 p.m., get ready to hit it out of the park! The City of Temecula is excited to invite you, your friends, and your family to the Temecula Takeover Night at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium, home of the Lake Elsinore Storm. This will be a night of unforgettable fun as we cheer on the Storm in their showdown with the Modesto Nuts. For the first time ever, the Storm players will be sporting Temecula-themed jerseys, and it's sure to be a memorable night as we come together to show our City Spirit and make some noise!

As part of this special celebration, Mayor Brenden Kalfus, an avid baseball enthusiast, will be throwing out the first pitch. Having played baseball for Temecula Valley High School and Saint Mary's College, and being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays, Mayor Kalfus has always had a deep connection to the sport. "As a lifelong baseball fan, I'm beyond excited to throw out the first pitch and celebrate Temecula Takeover Night with all of you! Growing up in Temecula, I spent countless hours on the baseball field, and it's an honor to see our City come together to support the Lake Elsinore Storm. Let's fill The Diamond and show our City Spirit!" he said.

The Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium, home to the Class-A Minor League Baseball Affiliate of the San Diego Padres, has a capacity of 5,000 fans and is known as one of the best ballparks in the Minor Leagues. The Storm's players will be representing Temecula in their custom jerseys for this one-night-only event, and local businesses will be exhibiting during the game, making it a great chance to connect with local businesses at the ballpark! With prizes during inning breaks and fun for all ages, this is a perfect way to spend a summer evening.

We encourage everyone to come out, show your Temecula pride, and support the Storm as they take on the Modesto Nuts. Tickets are available for purchase at GoFevo.com/CityofTemecula. Bring your family, friends, and love for baseball to this fun-filled night at the ballpark. Let's make some noise and show our support for the Lake Elsinore Storm and the City of Temecula!
