Road closures, announced for Northside Oktoberfest Sept. 20

Several roads will be closed, and bus routes will be detoured, to make way for the Northside Oktoberfest, on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.

Road closures will start at 5 a.m. and run until late night Sept. 20. Roads and alleys closed include:

• North Linn Street from the alley between Market and Jefferson streets to East Bloomington Street,
• East Market Street from North Dubuque Street to North Gilbert Street,

Transit impacts

The 7-North Dodge and 11-Rochester routes will detour all day on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, due to the Market Street closure.

The inbound 7-North Dodge will detour Market Street to Gilbert Street to Burlington Street to Madison Street to Washington Street.

7-North Dodge stops that will not be serviced are listed below:

• Stop 7206 - Market Street @ Linn Street
• Stop 8218 - Market Street @ Clinton Street (Old Brick)
• Stop 7332 - Madison Street @ Jefferson Street

The inbound 11- Rochester will detour Market Street to Gilbert Street to Burlington Street to Clinton Street to Washington Street.

11- Rochester stops that will not be serviced are listed below:

• Stop 7206 - Market Street @ Linn Street
• Stop 7207 - Clinton Street @ Jefferson Street
