Monmouth field hockey earned the No. 19 spot in the first NFHCA Poll of the season, marking the highest national ranking in program history.The Hawks are off to a scorching 4-0 start, outscoring opponents 28-6 over their opening four games.
Junior Lauren Relik leads the offense with 13 points on three goals and seven assists, followed closely by junior Anna Moors, who has 12 points on six goals. Reigning CAA Offensive Player of the Week Claire Campen has added 10 points to round out Monmouth's scoring leaders.
In their most recent victory over Rider at So Sweet a Cat Field on Sept. 7, head coach Carli Figlio earned her 200th career victory.
Monmouth will look to extend its unbeaten streak to 5-0 when the Hawks hit the road for the first time this season, visiting Lehigh on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
