MOBILE, Ala., Oct. 5, 2026 - Pinnacle Financial Partners has added a trust team to its Mobile office with three experienced financial professionals joining the firm. This expansion of the firm's trust services to South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle helps clients manage, protect and transfer wealth through long-term financial, estate and legacy plans.
"Adding a dedicated trust team is an important step in Pinnacle's growth across Mobile and the Florida Panhandle," said Jennifer Pelham, South Alabama regional president. "This new capability deepens the way we can serve clients locally, especially as their financial needs become more complex. Building a full-service team in this market reinforces our commitment to the community and provides the trust expertise and resources clients need close to home."
Pinnacle's new trust team includes Jennifer Kemp and Shannon McClure as trust and wealth advisors and Rob Wilson as trust portfolio manager. The trio brings decades of experience in trust administration, investment management, estate planning and client counsel. In their roles, they will provide local trust and advisory services to families, businesses, nonprofits and institutions across South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
McClure joins as a trust and wealth advisor, bringing 16 years of experience in wealth, trust and estate planning. She has worked at various investment and financial firms as private wealth advisor and trust officer focused on personal trusts and estates. McClure earned a law degree from Samford University.
Wilson joins the firm as trust portfolio manager with more than 20 years of investment management and trust experience. Wilson earned an MBA from the University of South Alabama and a bachelor's degree in business management from Spring Hill College. A chartered financial analyst (CFA), he is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Alabama and has served with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, United Way of South Alabama, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alabama and Leadership Mobile.
"This team gives clients in South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle access to experienced advisors who can sit at the same table and look at the full picture," said Taylor Powell, trust regional manager for the firm. "Trust work is about more than documents or accounts. It is about understanding what matters to people, honoring their intentions and helping families and organizations make thoughtful decisions for the future."
Eddie Norris, regional president for the Florida Panhandle, explained how strong talent in the region drives strong workplaces. "In a tight labor market, adding experienced professionals of this caliber says a lot about the kind of place Pinnacle is building in South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Jennifer, Shannon and Rob bring specialized experience and deep relationships, and their decision to join Pinnacle reflects a culture where experienced advisors can do their best work for clients," he said.
Pinnacle's merger with Synovus in January 2026 brought together two relationship-focused financial firms with a shared commitment to serving clients and communities across the Southeast. Synovus has served clients in Alabama and Florida for nearly four decades and will continue its transition to the Pinnacle brand through the first quarter of 2027, when systems integration is completed.
