CRA Applauds Release of Senate Farm Bill Text

June 23, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Corn Refiners Association President and CEO John Bode released the following statement on Farm Bill text released by Senate Agriculture Committee Chair John Boozman.

"The Farm Bill is one of the most important tools Congress has to strengthen American agriculture, expand markets for farmers, and reinforce U.S. leadership in the growing ag bioeconomy," said Bode. "CRA applauds Chairman Boozman for advancing bipartisan policies that support innovation in biomanufacturing, strengthen demand for American agricultural feedstocks, and help ensure farmers can benefit from emerging domestic and global market opportunities. These investments will support rural economic growth, encourage private-sector innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of U.S. agriculture.

"We look forward to continued work in the Senate to pass a bipartisan five-year Farm Bill that delivers lasting benefits for farmers, manufacturers, and rural communities."

The discussion draft includes key bipartisan, bicameral policy priorities endorsed by CRA to unlock new value-added market opportunities for American producers and support continued growth of the bioeconomy, including provisions from the Biomanufacturing and Jobs Act and the Agricultural Biorefinery Innovation and Opportunity (Ag BIO) Act, two bipartisan, bicameral bills endorsed by CRA.
