President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the delegation of the "Save Armenia" Judeo-Christian Union.
Welcoming the guests, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of such visits as a valuable platform for strengthening mutual understanding, friendship, and dialogue based on shared values among peoples. The President noted that the Armenian people have preserved their identity and cultural heritage for centuries thanks to a worldview rooted in Christian values, which continue to play an important role today.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the challenges facing the world and the region, as well as the need to preserve and pass on universal and Christian values to future generations. President Khachaturyan stressed that the principles of mutual respect, tolerance, human dignity, peace, and solidarity should continue to serve as the foundation of public life.
The President highlighted the importance of constructive cooperation between the state, the Church, and religious communities in strengthening moral values in society, educating the younger generation, fostering public solidarity, and preserving national identity. According to him, in the modern world it is particularly important to create an environment in which spiritual and civic values complement one another, contributing to the sustainable development of society.
The meeting also touched upon the democratic and institutional reforms implemented in Armenia in recent years, the country's socio-economic development, and the positive trends observed in public life. President Khachaturyan noted that Armenia will continue to take consistent steps toward strengthening democratic institutions, ensuring the rule of law, advancing economic progress, and promoting innovation-driven development.
Referring to Armenia-United States relations, the President emphasized the expansion of bilateral cooperation in recent years, noting that it is based on mutual respect, democratic values, and shared interests.
The President also highly appreciated the continued interest and support shown by various American partner organizations toward Armenia and the Armenian people.
The sides reaffirmed the importance of joint efforts aimed at promoting universal values, peace, mutual understanding, and friendship among peoples.
