Workforce Recruitment Program Info Session

Workforce Recruitment Program Info Session

Career Center Thursday September 18, 2025

The Workforce Recruitment Program, coordinated by the U.S. Department of Labor, is a recruitment program that connects federal employers with college students, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities who are seeking internships or permanent jobs. Students who are eligible for WRP and go through the application process will have access to career development activities and will be enrolled in a searchable database that is available to federal government employers.

The Career Center, in collaboration with the Student Disability Resource Center, is hosting an information session on Wednesday, Sept. 24, for students interested in applying to WRP. The info session will start at 3:30 p.m. and will look at WRP eligibility, the application process and what to expect. Following the presentation, Career Center staff will be available for an Application Open House from 4:30-6 p.m. to help any students with their application questions. We hope to see you there!
