Amador County
Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 49 & 88
Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 11, 2024.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control at Wicklow Way for falsework removal on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
