Chinese Consul General in Brisbane Ruan Zongze Attends the “Chinese Cultural Harmony Festival 2026 Celebrating Community&Mothers”

On 9 May 2026, Chinese Consul-General in Brisbane Dr Ruan Zongze was invited to attend the "Chinese Cultural Harmony Festival 2026 Celebrating Community&Mothers" and delivered a speech. Julie-Ann Campbell MP, James Martin MP, Corrine McMillan MP, Councillor Steven Huang, President of Australian Chinese Club Inc. and Beijing Club Edward Chen, and Chinese community leaders attended the event.

Dr Ruan said that this event paid tribute to the eternal theme of maternal love, and fully showcased the charm of characteristic Beijing culture. He hopes that the Chinese community continues to promote Chinese traditional culture and facilitate the people-to-people friendship between China-Queensland and China-Australia.

The guests shared the same idea that culture could transcend the language barrier, and said they would continue to support various people-to-people exchanges between Queensland and China.
