New I Make America Resource Center Helps Companies Turn Industry Pride into Action

AEM is excited to announce the launch of the I Make America Resource Center, a new portal designed to help more companies participate in the I Make America program and build pride in the people behind American manufacturing.

At its core, I Make America is about the people behind our industry -  the men and women who build, power, and feed America  -  and ensuring their voices are heard on the issues shaping their jobs, communities, and future.

AEM is committed to making it easier than ever for companies to engage employees, elevate their stories, and turn that pride into action. That is where these resources come in.

Resources include a new I Make America Playbook, which serves as a how-to guide to participating in the program, alongside downloadable materials and giveaways to educate and engage employees. Together, these resources provide a more structured, accessible way for AEM member companies to integrate industry pride and advocacy into their day-to-day operations.

Getting Started with I Make America: A Complete Toolkit

The Resource Center includes a range of plug-and-play materials that companies can easily customize and deploy, including:

  • Posters and signage for facilities and job sites to promote industry pride and reinforce key messages.
  • Social media graphics and sample posts to support consistent, coordinated digital engagement.
  • Presentation slides for break rooms and meetings.
  • Email templates to drive awareness and participation across the workforce.
  • Event materials for I Make America-themed company and community events.

The I Make America Playbook: A Step-by-Step Guide

At the center of the new resource center is the new I Make America Playbook, which provides a structured, step-by-step framework for engaging with the grassroots advocacy program.

The Playbook outlines how to get started with the I Make America program, best practices for engaging employees, and a guide to keep up momentum. It is built to be flexible - whether a company is new to I Make America or looking to build on what they are already doing.

AEM developed these resources in response to member company feedback calling for simpler, more turnkey ways to participate in grassroots advocacy. The updated program is designed to help companies save time on content creation and reduce barriers to entry to participate in the program.

When companies engage with I Make America, they are not just participating in a campaign. They are helping build pride in American manufacturing, putting a spotlight on the people who make our industry possible, and ensuring policymakers hear directly from the communities they represent.

Participating in I Make America does not need a large team or a complicated plan to get started. Small actions - such as hanging a poster - can have a meaningful impact.

To get started, reach out to [email protected] to set up an account with the I Make America Resource Center. If you have questions, need ideas, or want to explore additional ways to engage your workforce, please don't hesitate to reach out.
