The City of Alexandria is officially seeking qualified food vendors to bring high-quality culinary experiences to our live, in-person events throughout 2026. If you have experience serving at large outdoor events and a clean licensing record, we want to hear from you. Please review the full guidelines on how to apply.
To ensure a diverse and high-quality experience for attendees, vendors will be selected based on:
Selected vendors are guaranteed a slot at one Signature Event and at least one Community Event.
All vendors will have the option to apply again for the following year, regardless if they are selected. However, if a vendor is selected for this year and fails to attend a selected Special Event (Signature or Community Event), the vendor will incur a $200 penalty and will be unable to apply for selection in the following year. The event is rain or shine, unless prior updates confirmed by the Special Events staff liaison.
