European Union: Fresh Deciduous Fruit Annual

EU commercial apple and pear production in Marketing Year (MY) 2026/27 is forecast at 9.8 million metric tons (MMT) and 1.88 MMT, respectively. This is a decrease of 13.5 percent for apples and an increase of 2 percent for pears compared to the previous year. If materialized this would be the second-smallest production in the past decade for apples and the fifth-smallest for pears. EU commercial table grape production is forecast to increase by 4 percent to 1.59 MMT.
