Mayor Parker to Announce Vision for Modular Housing Manufacturing Facility in Philadelphia

The proposed factory would produce modular homes for use across the city and could be located on several acres of vacant land in North Philadelphia, with the Logan Triangle identified as a potential site.

During the press conference, the Mayor will share details of a recently released Request for Information (RFI), which invites developers, manufacturers, and other interested entities to submit proposals and innovative ideas to help make the factory a reality. The initiative is aimed at advancing housing production, revitalizing underutilized land, and creating economic opportunity for Philadelphia residents.
