Portage Lake Lift Bridge lane closures for bridge washing June 1-4
HOUGHTON, Mich. - Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing routine bridge washing on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge between the cities of Houghton and Hancock from June 1 to 4. These cleaning operations will require lane closures.
Motorists should expect intermittent lanes closures on the bridge between 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m. each day.
