Students in Terra State's technology and skilled trades programs now have an opportunity to seamlessly transfer their associate degree credits toward bachelor's degree studies at Bowling Green State University's College of Engineering and Innovation, thanks to a special "2+2" degree pathway announced by the two schools.
The 2+2 degree pathway program was created to support access to higher education and foster the development of Ohio's engineering, manufacturing and skilled trades workforce. Through the 2+2 program, students can complete the first two years of their studies at Terra State Community College before transferring to BGSU.
To participate in the 2+2 program, students must complete an associate degree from Terra State Community College in one of six eligible programs. These include computer systems, construction technology, electricity, manufacturing engineering, power technologiesand digital media technology.
"By streamlining the transition from associate to bachelor's degrees, we are opening doors to incredible opportunities and ensuring that students receive top-tier education and hands-on experience," said Terra State Community College President Ronald Schumacher. "We are proud to collaborate with BGSU in empowering the next generation of engineers."
