Enforcing EU digital rules to protect democracy online
Starting at 9.00, MEPs will discuss with European Commission Vice-President Henna Virkkunen and Polish Minister for EU Affairs Adam Szłapka the need to enforce the Digital Services Act (DSA) to safeguard democracy from foreign interference and algorithmic manipulation. Christel Schaldemose (S&D, DK), EP Vice-President and Chair of the Working group on the implementation of the DSA, will hold a press conference at 15.30.

Consequences of Trump's second mandate for the transatlantic relations
One day after President Trump's inauguration, plenary will assess with Commissioner Šefčovič and Polish EU Affairs Minister Szłapka the geopolitical and economic implications for EU-US relations of the new administration, starting at 13.00.

EU response to the ongoing repression in Belarus
From around 16.00, MEPs together with Commissioner Kubilius and Polish Minister Szłapka, will debate how to address the continuing oppression and fake elections in Belarus. Plenary will vote on a resolution on Wednesday.

Venezuela after the illegitimate investiture of Nicolás Maduro
The critical situation in Venezuela following the investiture of President Maduro despite the credible evidence that he lost the presidential elections will be the subject of a debate with Commission Kubilius and Polish Minister Szłapka starting around 17.00. A resolution will be put to vote on Thursday.

In brief
Russian sabotage in the Baltic Sea. From around 14.00, MEPs will discuss how to counter sabotage by the Russian shadow fleet against critical infrastructure in the Baltic Sea, with Commission Vice-President Virkkunen and Polish Minister Szłapka.
Hungarian espionage on EU officials. Starting around 15.00, plenary will review with Commissioner Serafin and Polish Minister Szłapka allegations that Hungary's intelligence services surveilled EU officials investigating fraud in the country.
Situation in Georgia. In the evening, MEPs will assess the deterioration of the political situation in Georgia, in a discussion with Commissioner Brunner.
Votes
Plenary will vote at 12.00 whether to approve an agreement with Serbia on operational activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency
