Celebrate the Season at Lancaster's Pumpkin Splash

Lancaster, CA. September 23, 2026 - The City of Lancaster invites families to dive into fall fun at Pumpkin Splash, happening Saturday, October 3, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Eastside Pool. This free community tradition puts a unique twist on pumpkin picking by taking it to the water.

"Creating opportunities for families to connect is an important part of building a strong community," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "Pumpkin Splash is a fun tradition that brings neighbors together and gives children and families another reason to enjoy everything Lancaster has to offer."

Guests can jump into the heated indoor pool to bob for pumpkins before decorating their perfect pumpkin to take home. Beyond the pool, families can enjoy an afternoon of festive activities, including face painting, balloon artists, games, and more. Whether you're making a splash or showing off your creativity, there's something for all ages to enjoy.

Admission is free, and the event has a maximum capacity of 200 guests. Wristbands are required and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early.

Participants who receive a corresponding wristband may select one pumpkin and take part in our popular Pumpkin Bobbing activity, featuring 200 pumpkins available throughout the event. To ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, 50 pumpkins will be released each hour.
