UW-Parkside Seeking 2026 Distinguished Alumni Nominations

Kenosha, Wis.- January 30, 2026- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites the community to nominate individuals for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards.
The UW-Parkside Distinguished Alumni Awards celebrate and honor the rich legacy of learning and accomplishments by those graduates who have excelled in their chosen field or performed exemplary service to our community. Anyone can nominate a UW-Parkside alum until June 26, 2026. The award winners will be recognized at the Distinguished Alumni Award Ceremony in October 2026.
The 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards will feature four categories, including the Recent Alumni Award, Outstanding Alumni Award, the traditional Alumni Achievement Award, and Alumni Service Award.
The Recent Alumni Award is given to an alum who has graduated within the past 10 years (2016 or later) and has made a significant impact in their chosen field and their community. The Outstanding Alumni Award is given to an individual who demonstrates exceptional professional achievement and whose contributions have had a positive impact on society.
UW-Parkside will also select one recipient each for the Alumni Achievement Award and the Alumni Service Award. The Alumni Achievement Award is given to a graduate who excels in their profession in areas of leadership, commitment to excellence, and lifelong learning, and has continued to grow in their profession. The Alumni Service Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates outstanding and significant contributions to the community or UW-Parkside.
