Point Breeze Credit Union, together with its members, sponsors and community supporters, has surpassed $250,000 in total donations to the Maryland Food Bank through its annual golf tournament, "The Harvest." The milestone reflects the credit union's longstanding commitment to strengthening the communities it serves and helping Marylanders facing hunger.
The eighth annual event, held this year at Country Club of Maryland in Towson, brought together Point Breeze members, business partners and community supporters for a day of friendly competition with a shared purpose: raising funds to help Maryland Food Bank provide greater access to nutritious food and address food insecurity across the state.
"For more than 90 years, Point Breeze has been dedicated to strengthening the communities we serve," said Tonia Niedzialkowski, President and CEO of Point Breeze Credit Union. "Reaching more than $250,000 in support of the Maryland Food Bank is a remarkable milestone and a testament to the generosity of our members, sponsors, and community partners. Together, we are helping provide meals, combat food insecurity, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Marylanders."
Since launching "The Harvest" in 2018, Point Breeze has continued to grow the tournament's impact through the support of members, sponsors, volunteers and community partners. The event is one of the ways the credit union carries forward its enduring commitment to Maryland communities and to neighbors who need a helping hand.
