[SUPREME] Indiana Compensation Rating Bureau and Indiana Department of Insurance v. Technology Insurance Company, No. 24A-PL-00857
After Technology Insurance Company prevailed in an administrative proceeding against the Indiana Compensation Rating Bureau, the company unsuccessfully asked the Department of Insurance for costs and fees. The Marion Superior Court ordered the Department to award the company fees, but the Court of Appeals reversed, finding the Department was statutorily constrained from addressing that issue. Ind. Comp. Rating Bureau v. Tech. Ins. Co., 247 N.E.3d 778 (Ind. Ct. App. 2024), trans. pending. Technology Insurance Company has asked the Supreme Court to accept jurisdiction over this appeal.
