Traffic Advisory

This Phase 3 includes design, environmental clearance, and construction of the full-width of French Valley Parkway between Jefferson Avenue and Ynez Road, including the bridge overcrossing of I-15, and connecting on-ramps to the northbound collector/distributor (C/D) system constructed in Phase 2. These on-ramps will allow drivers to connect with northbound I-15 or I-215 using the new C/D system.

These improvements will alleviate congestion at the Winchester Road interchange by providing alternative connections to/from the freeway. It will provide a new cross-town connection for vehicles, transit, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Status: The City has identified the most qualified candidate based on evaluations and interviews of consultant firms who submitted proposals in response to Request For Proposals (RFP 300) for design, environmental, and right-of-way professional services. We are targeting award of the agreement and beginning the work in early 2025.
