Sonoma Raceway to Induct Kyle Busch Into Wall of Fame

Sonoma Raceway will honor one of NASCAR's all-time greats this race weekend by posthumously inducting two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch into the Sonoma Raceway Wall of Fame. The special ceremony will celebrate Busch's extraordinary contributions to the sport and recognize the remarkable legacy he built at one of NASCAR's most iconic road courses.

Few drivers mastered the challenges of Sonoma Raceway like Busch. A multiple-time winner on the 10-turn circuit, he combined precision, determination, and versatility to produce some of the most memorable performances in the track's history. His victories and years of success in Wine Country made Sonoma one of the signature stops in a career that redefined excellence across NASCAR's national series.

"Kyle Busch was one of the fiercest competitors this sport has ever seen," said Brian Flynn, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sonoma Raceway. "He embraced every challenge our road course presented and consistently delivered unforgettable moments for our fans. While we deeply wish he could be here to accept this honor himself, we are proud to celebrate a legacy that will forever be part of Sonoma Raceway."

Throughout his Hall of Fame career, Busch earned more than 60 NASCAR Cup Series victories, captured two Cup Series championships, and became the winningest driver in the history of NASCAR's three national touring series. His success at Sonoma showcased the complete skill set that made him one of the most respected and accomplished drivers of his generation.

The Sonoma Raceway Wall of Fame recognizes individuals whose achievements have shaped the history and tradition of racing in Northern California. Busch's induction honors not only his victories and accomplishments but also the passion, determination, and competitive spirit that inspired millions of race fans throughout his career.

The induction ceremony will include the unveiling of Busch's Wall of Fame plaque and feature tributes from members of the NASCAR community, former competitors, and special guests. Members of the Busch family will accept the honor on his behalf.

"Kyle's impact on Sonoma Raceway extends far beyond the wins," Flynn said. "He challenged every competitor, thrilled every fan, and elevated every race he entered. His name will forever be woven into the history of this raceway, and it is our privilege to ensure future generations recognize what he meant to this sport."

As fans gather in Wine Country for NASCAR weekend, Sonoma Raceway will celebrate the life and career of a champion whose competitive fire, remarkable talent, and unforgettable performances left an indelible mark on the track and the sport he loved.
